Snow Redes

These are the answer, when there is snow around put your SNOWSHOES on, and don't forget walking or ski poles at the same time.

If you go on the slopes with these be avalanche aware, and carry an ice axe. Otherwise keep to the safer areas.

Skiing and Snowboarding (when there is snow!) is an hours drive away from Soto de Agues at the Puerto de San Isidro pass where there are 2 ski resorts either side of the watershed. On the northern Asturian side is Fuentes de Invierno, and on the southern Leon side is the resort of San Isidro. Occassionally the pass (puerto) is closed, or you may need snow chains (cadenas) for your car - check this traffic site in Spanish only.
